Duas mulheres em meio ao movimento hippie dos anos 70 se unem pelo sonho de liberdade. Luhli e Lucina vivem em seu cotidiano criativo de uma comunidade alternativa a experimentação musical radical e se tornam pioneiras no cenário independente brasileiro. Com cerca de 800 composições, do violão aos tambores artesanais que constroem e tocam, dizem não às gravadoras e mergulham na umbanda e na criação artística. Seu companheiro de um relacionamento em trisal, o fotógrafo Luiz Fernando Borges da Fonseca, registra tudo em filmes super 8mm que, unidos a registros de shows por artistas independentes; e as filmagens atuais, recriam seu universo espírito-musical, num filme sobre a liberdade e a busca das raízes primitivas culturais brasileiras. No elenco: Gilberto Gil, Ney Matogrosso, Zélia Duncan e outros nomes da história da música popular brasileira.
