Poucos dias antes de ir para Nashville, Rhett Ryan descobre que o desejo de seguir seu sonho de conflitos com o seu desejo de estar com a mulher que ele ama. Enquanto Samantha ama a cantora e compositora, ela começa a perceber o que é melhor para sua filha e seu futuro pode não ser o que é melhor para ele. Tommy Carson trabalha dia e noite para manter a paz na Prospect, mas Donny, que está em uma espiral descendente, torna isso ainda mais difícil para o deputado.
