Drama documental sobre a revolucionária Olga Benário. Olga Benário, jovem comunista alemã, lidera uma ousada operação que liberta Otto Braun da prisão de Moabit. Perseguida pelo governo alemão, foge para Moscovo, onde recebe treinamento militar. Designada pelo Komintern para proteger Luís Carlos Prestes no Brasil, os dois se apaixonam durante a Intentona Comunista de 1935. Capturada pelo regime de Getúlio Vargas, Olga, grávida, é deportada para a Alemanha nazista, onde enfrenta a prisão da Gestapo e, mais tarde, um campo de concentração, enquanto luta por sua filha e pela sobrevivência.
