Yukito, chega a uma pacata cidade uma semana antes do festival anual com esperanças de que ele pode fazer algum dinheiro. No entanto, quando ele conhece uma garota incomum chamada Misuzu, ele é lembrado de que sua mãe lhe disse uma vez - "Quando você sai em sua jornada, se você encontrar a menina com asas de re-encarnação, você deve usar seu poder para libertá-la ". Yukito e Misuzu logo começam a apaixonar-se. No entanto, quando Yukito percebe conexão Misuzu com o passado, ele deve decidir em sair da vida dela ou tentar quebrar a maldição que tem ligado Kanna em séculos de dor.
