Em três épocas distintas, trava-se uma luta contra a opressão. A história se repete, porém é atravessada pelo imprevisível, alimentando o espírito revolucionário. I. Após cometerem um crime, Augustina, Ana e Tarsila se escondem em uma casa abandonada. Elas carregam consigo uma foto de Valéria, ícone de guerreira e pirata. II. Vicente, Marlene e Cláudio se encontram isolados em um bar no meio do sertão. Aos poucos, o refúgio é invadido pela assombração de Valéria. Ela convoca Vicente a participar da sua luta. III. Valéria foi soterrada pela violência do mundo contemporâneo. Ela se esforça para restabelecer o elo consigo mesma e retomar o seu lugar no mundo. Algo há de acontecer.
