O detetive Mick Havden acaba de ser designado por seu chefe, John Hatter, a reabertura do caso que, há anos, quase causou sua ruína. Jabberwocky, um enigmático serial Killer, ressurgiu deixando sua já conhecida marca junto às vítimas. Porém, para Mick, não há um motivo plausível que ligue um crime ao outro. Enquanto seu chefe está certo que Jabberwocky é mesmo o suspeito apontado pelo jornal, algo diz a Mick que estão todos no caminho errado. A verdade é que, depois de uma pancada na cabeça durante uma perseguição, Mick começou a ter estranhos sonhos e visões perturbadoras dos assassinatos.
