Michelle é uma mulher sensivel e bonita, recentemente divorciada de seu marido Willy, um viciado, Willy rouba um corvette vermelho e sai com Rita para tentar esquecer Michelle. Quando estão parados numa lanchonete para comer algo, um policial começa a revistar o carro, Rita repentinamente ataca o policial, pega sua arma atirando no Barman rouba todo dinheiro da caixa, e fogem. Willy fica sabendo que Rita é uma fugitiva da justiça, forçado pela situação, Willy ajuda Rita a assaltar o banco onde justamente Michelle trabalha. O assalto fracassa e Michelle sob a mira de uma arma, ajuda os dois a fugirem. Willy é morto na perseguição, porem o pesadelo dela acaba de começar...
