Cameron (Steve Railsback), um fugitivo da polícia, acidentalmente causa a morte de um dublê durante as filmagens. Eli Cross (Peter O'Toole), o diretor do filme, sabendo que ele precisa se esconder diz a polícia que ele é quem pensavam que tivesse morrido. Em troca exige que ele atue como dublê em cenas cada vez mais arriscadas, fazendo Cameron pensar na possibilidade de morrer durante as filmagens fazendo algo totalmente impossível.
