Anos antes de "Sem Destino", Peter Fonda estrela como Heavenly Blues, o líder de uma ganga de motociclistas selvagens. Quando seu melhor amigo (Bruxe Dern) é ferido em meio a uma tentativa de roubar uma motocicleta da polícia, tentam raptá-lo em um hospital, onde encontra-se muito debilitado. Começa assim, uma jornada desesperada de fuga. Motociclistas do Hell's Angels, foram contratados para trabalhar no filme. Mais uma pérola na filmografia do diretor produtor e mestre do "low badget", Corman.
