Por vê-lo triste e cansado, o faxineiro aconselha o datilógrafo a consultar um médico. Ao apanhar a radiografia, o faxineiro apanha a chapa trocada, de um doente que está para morrer. O faxineiro esconde o resultado do datilógrafo mas informa aos demais, que resolvem fazer as vontades do datilógrafo para aliviar seus últimos tempos de vida.
