O bem-sucedido administrador financeiro Jae-hoon (Lee Byung-hun) vê seu mundo desmoronar quando a empresa na qual trabalha entra em falência, causando enormes prejuízos a seus clientes e funcionários. Arruinado e sem perspectivas, ele decide fazer uma viagem para a Austrália, onde vivem sua esposa e filho. Não desejando ser fonte de problemas, Jae-hoon primeiro resolve observar sua família à distância, para logo perceber que talvez eles estejam melhor sem a sua presença. Enquanto isso, uma jovem garota coreana vítima de um golpe aparece em seu caminho, solicitando ajuda para recuperar o dinheiro que havia ganho trabalhando na Austrália.
