Filha de pescador, Marina é violentada na presença do noivo que não a defende. Desiludida, ela foge na noite do seu casamento e é acolhida por um velho marujo em sua casa no pontal. Dias depois o noivo, o padrinho e o homem que a violentara a encontram, e procuram levar Marina à força. O velho marujo, com ajuda de seu cachorro, acaba matando os invasores.
