Amor e Intriga é uma peça escrita originalmente em 1783 pelo dramaturgo alemão Friedrich Schiller. Nesta adaptação contemporânea, Roman Viktyuk, um dos nomes lendários do teatro russo, faz o público refletir sobre o absurdo da existência sem amor e a insignificância de se curvar aos dogmas sociais. Ferdinand, major do exército e filho do presidente Von Walter, apaixona-se por Luise Miller, filha de um músico de classe média. No entanto, com o intuito de aumentar sua influência na corte, o presidente deseja casar seu filho com a nobre Lady Milford. Ferdinand rebela-se contra os planos do pai e tenta persuadir Luise a fugir com ele.
