Beaumont-sur-mer, Riviera Francesa. Josephine (Anne Hathaway) e Penny (Rebel Wilson) são duas manipuladoras, conhecidas pela arte de extorquir milionários. No entanto, enquanto a primeira é sofisticada, a segunda tem métodos muito menos elegantes.
