Jean sente-se preso na lógica de longevidade que a indústria farmacêutica o impõe e decide planejar um suicídio consciente. Ele convida Helena para que o suicídio seja a dois. Ela, por sua vez, hesita, sabe que viverá bem inclusive se precisar viver só, mas o ajuda em suas intenções. O silêncio entre eles não revela distância, mas intimidade. São anos de um afeto compartilhado. Juntos, eles prepararão todos os detalhes para o funeral. Ele dança a morte enquanto ela segue ensaiando a vida. Nesse processo, os dois se dão conta de que antes do fim, ainda há uma vida inteira.
