"Não quero ser justa, eu quero vencer!" Este é o lema de Robbie Steele, uma ambiciosa e agressiva advogada em Vancouver, determinada a vencer a qualquer custo. Seus colegas a chamam de "Rainha do Gelo" e "A Exterminadora", e até mesmo entre os concorrentes sua reputação é conhecida. Agora o desafio de Robbie é vender um time decadente de hóquei pelo maior preço possível. Sua estratégia é reforçar o time contratando o veterano Cody Harris, um jogador violento, lutador, admirado pela torcida. Mas a surpresa para Robbie é que ele está mudado: agora é um cristão. Apesar do jeito de "durona", Robbie é influenciada pela nova vida de Cody Harris. As tensões aumentam e ela trava uma luta interna para manter o controle (algo que sempre soube fazer), e começa a perceber que vencer talvez não seja tudo.
