Em um posto de gasolina na beira da estrada, três personagens se encontram: Rita, a proprietária do posto, que continua procurando por um amor que ela acha que já teve um dia; Wésley, vendedor de DVDs e CDs piratas que, depois de levado ao subemprego, está tentando reconstruir sua vida; e Caburé, que não dorme direito em anos esperando para resgatar um passado de vida e morte. Reunidos por uma aparente coincidência, eles tecem seu destino até descobrirem o que é comum em suas histórias.
