Abutre, caçador de prêmios, está à procura de Montero, chefe de uma quadrilha de assaltantes, que vem matando e estuprando mulheres. Num acidente, Abutre mata uma criança, filha de Montero, que reúne seu bando para se vingar. Com a morte da criança, Abutre resolve abandonar a caçada; fugindo, para a fronteira, ele encontra uma mestiça, mulher de Montero e mãe da criança. Enquanto ele tenta provar sua inocência à mulher, Montero chega com seus capangas. A quadrilha começa a vasculhar a cidade à procura de Abutre, invadindo e saqueando as casas e travando cerrado tiroteio com o delegado local e seus auxiliares. Após muitas mortes, Abutre consegue liqüidar o bando, voltando a seu destino de caçador de prêmios.
