Cego, ele é fã do escritor argentino Jorge Luis Borges - origem do nome do animal de estimação - e depende de conhecidos para sobreviver. Yara (Verônica Cavalcanti), moça que faz a limpeza da casa, Romão (Fabiano Raposo), garoto que faz pequenos serviços, e Vladimir (Paulo Philippe) são seus auxiliares e planejam o roubo de uma obra rara e inédita de Borges que Napoleão diz guardar.
