Prostitutas, traficantes, filmes, pesadelos e muita violência invadem a vida de Vicente. Ele não esperava por nada disso, afinal, não passava de um jornalista decadente, em crise e "encostado" em uma grande revista. Suas perspectivas, no entanto, começam a mudar quando ele é destacado para encontrar um famoso empresário, desaparecido em circunstâncias misteriosas. Vicente não é detetive, mas gosta de se envolver em casos estranhos. Também não perdeu seu instinto de jornalista. Depois de muita pesquisa de campo, qual não é a sua surpresa ao descobrir que o executivo se tornou membro de uma irmandade religiosa, pouco ortodoxa, afeita ao sexo e a rituais bizarros. Para se aprofundar ainda mais na história, Vicente se disfarça e se infiltra na irmandade.
