Um tributo a um dos grandes cineastas do mundo e aos homens da 8ª Força Aérea que realizaram missões após missões suicidas na Segunda Guerra Mundial. Em 1943 o lendário diretor de Hollywood William Wyler filmou o documentário sobre a famosa fortaleza voadora Memphis Belle, uma homenagem ao bombardeiro titular da Segunda Guerra Mundial. Usando imagens dos Arquivos Nacionais filmadas por Wyler e sua equipe, o diretor Erik Nelson criou um novo filme, com narração de alguns dos últimos pilotos B-17 sobreviventes.
