Sempre acompanhado de seus fiéis parceiros, o ranger Kit Carson e o índio navajo Jack Tigre, Tex enfrentará o mais estranho de seus inimigos: O Senhor dos Abismos. Escondido em cavernas secretas de uma cidade asteca em ruínas, ele possui a mais estranha arma que já existiu e ameaça dominar todos os outros territórios, exterminando todos os brancos e índios que atravessem seu caminho. Enfrentando perigos, Tex terá de encontrar El Morisco, um velho e sábio índio, que conhece toda a verdade sobre este novo e perigoso inimigo de nosso herói.
