Mas Inezita é mais: muito antes de se tornar apresentadora do Viola, Minha Viola, no ar na TV Cultura desde 1980, Inezita presenciou a efervescência cultural da São Paulo dos anos 40; inaugurou a tradição cinematográfica paulista da Vera Cruz; viveu os bastidores do Teatro Brasileiro de Comédia; foi a primeira cantora contratada da TV Record; viajou o interior do país recolhendo temas folclóricos e pilotando um jipe. Inezita é urbana, é cosmopolita, grã-fina, caipira, sambista, atriz, violeira, mãe cantora e mulher. Neste filme, repleto de depoimentos e imagens de arquivo, a artista abre a intimidade de sua casa, e conversa com a câmera com a naturalidade de quem se senta com velhos amigos na mesa de um bar.
