Ano de 1977, uma manhã de setembro em Ancara... Yilmaz tenta levar sua esposa grávida Neriman para o hospital e ele bate no carro de Omer. Este acidente faz com que a esposa grávida de Omer, Inci, que estava no banco de trás, tenha um trabalho de parto prematuro. Os bebês nascem no mesmo dia. Eles se veem pela primeira vez, mas o destino os separa. Até que, 25 anos depois de terem se conhecido, eles se reencontram em Istambul. O filme narra a história de Deniz (Belcim Bilgin) e Özgür (Mehmet Günsür), que nasceram no mesmo dia, lado a lado, e dos seus encontros e desencontros ao longo de suas vidas.
