Andy (Stephen Chow) deseja aprender as habilidades do Deus dos Jogadores (Chow Yun-Fat). Ao fazer isso, ele busca a ajuda do discípulo do Deus dos Jogadores e recém coroado Cavaleiro dos Jogadores, Michael (Andy Lau). Quando Andy e Michael se encontram, nem imaginam o que estariam por enfrentar. Sr. Ching, um gangster impiedoso está para sair da cadeia, e quer vingança contra "O Deus dos Jogadores", para isso seu plano é usar Michael como meio de atraí-lo. Após serem atacados pelos capangas do senhor Ching, Andy usa seus poderes paranormais para tentar localizar "O Deus dos Jogadores", porém o que eles encontram é muita encrenca e um impostor chamado Russen (Lap-Man Tan) que se diz "O Cavaleiros dos Jogadores"". Cabe a Michael e a Andy provarem a verdade.
