Mathieu, francês sofisticado, rico e de meia idade, apaixona-se perdidamente por sua ex-arrumadeira Conchita, bela espanhola de apenas dezenove anos. Começa então um jogo de gato-e-rato surrealista, de fundo sexual, em que Marhieu tenta por todos os meios conquistar os favores de Conchita, enquanto ela o manipula impiedosamente.
