Perto de seus 13 anos, Alice se rebela, denunciando à polícia de Paris que sua mãe é uma assassina. No entanto, Alice não tem provas. Sua mãe, Eva, rica e poderosa, escapa de todas as acusações. Alice foge imediatamente, determinada a encontrar o pai, que afirma viver em Portugal. A polícia acredita que ele está morto, mas Alice nega isso. A polícia então envia Anita, uma policial italiana emprestada aos franceses, para encontrar Alice e trazê-la de volta. Enquanto isso, Eva lançou sua própria força paramilitar para caçar Alice. No entanto, Alice encontrou um protetor em Hugo, um ex-soldado que se tornou assassino de aluguel e membro de uma gangue. Ele promete levá-la ao seu pai. Todos os caminhos os levam a uma pequena cidade na costa portuguesa.
