Costinha, filho de cientistas, perde-se na floresta por descuido da babá Creolina. Criado pela macaca Filó, reencontra Creolina e os três passam a levar uma vida selvagem, à qual não falta o conforto moderno de aparelhos de TV e som. A tranqüilidade só é interrompida pelo ataque dos temíveis Tupiniquinhos, liderados por Tupinicão. O milionário Siqueira, acompanhado pelo secretário e os filhos Roy e Bety, sofre um desastre aéreo e também se perde na selva. Roy é aprisionado pelos índios e Costinha resolve todas as situações de perigo e tudo termina em paz e harmonia para todos
