Ao fim da tarde, Tripp (Patrick Dempsey) vai ao banco e é surpreendido por duas gangues, que desejam roubá-lo. Uma delas é formada por profissionais, enquanto a outra conta com uma dupla de palhaços chamada Peanut Butter (Tim Blake Nelson) e Jelly (Pruitt Taylor Vince). Em meio a um tiroteio dentro do banco, Tripp tenta proteger Kaitlin (Ashley Judd), uma bela caixa. Logo o sistema de segurança bloqueia todas as saídas do banco, o que faz com que todos fiquem presos dentro dele.
