No Brasil do final dos anos 1980, os sonhos dos anos 1960 não fazem mais sentido para jovens que se sentem perdidos quanto ao seu futuro e ao do país, imerso em profunda crise política e econômica. Na Universidade de Brasília, mobilizações tentam resgatar a esperança e o espírito de luta, que parecem perdidos com a chegada da geração que cresceu sob o silêncio imposto pela ditadura. Nesse contexto, uma confraria de estudantes exercita suas inquietações e experimenta sua liberdade sem limites.
