Linda Blanche, jovem ingênua, procura emprego de secretária, e, atraída por um anúncio de jornal, termina engravidada por Maurício, seu patrão e, depois, desempregada. Desesperada, Linda tenta abortar e suicidar-se, sem sucesso. Maurício descobre que a ama e tenta encontrá-la, em vão. Passa a beber de bar em bar, terminando por despencar do Viaduto do Chá. Linda volta, então, aos braços de seu antigo amor. comentários: Inspirado na canção-tema, grande sucesso, que ficou conhecida como o ”melô da secretária”, interpretada pela compositora e cantora Júlia Graciela.
