Na escola católica para meninos St.Michael, Luther Scott (Chris Pine) quebra, ao lado do amigo de infância e colega de quarto Robbie (Lukas Behken), todas as regras como a principal fonte de bebidas, filmes e contrabando dos estudantes, longe dos olhos dos padres. No entanto, o jovem David Bennett ameaça delatar as atividades da dupla - e acaba sendo vítima da truculência de Scott. Mais tarde, Scott conta tudo ao chocado Padre Kelly (Cameron Daddo) durante uma confissão. Quando o crime é descoberto, a investigação do Detetive William Fletcher (Peter Greene) recai imediatamente sobre Kelly que, pela santidade do confessionário, precisa guardar a verdade para si. Começa então um jogo de gato e rato, no qual Scott se aproveita da situação para plantar evidências que acusam o próprio padre.
