"Nos Bastidores de Elefante" segue os cineastas enquanto eles capturam a jornada épica de elefantes africanos pelo deserto de Kalahari para o filme "Elefante" da Disneynature. A equipe enfrenta condições climáticas extremas, terrenos inacessíveis, águas infestadas de crocodilos e encontros próximos com leões, a fim de esclarecer essas criaturas notáveis ​​e suas antigas migrações. Filmar o maior animal terrestre do mundo não é tarefa fácil.
