Em janeiro de 2020, diante dos primeiros casos de Covid-19, a equipe da Canibal Filmes se reuniu e rapidamente filmou o roteiro de A Louca Origem do Covid-19, um longa-metragem de baixo orçamento que conta a história de um grupo de bandidos chegando em uma vila tomada de infectados por um estranho vírus, que viria a ser o vírus embrionário do Covid-19 em uma reviravolta fantástica! A produção foi filmada com câmeras VHS e editado numa ilha de edição analógica, para dar o incrível sabor charmoso das produções Shot On Video de 20 anos atrás.
