Em Nosso Amigo Unicórnio, após a perda da mãe, Mia (Ryan Viera Armstrong) e sua irmã, Emma (Summer Fontana), vão morar com a avó no meio do nada. Lá, enquanto passeiam pela floresta, elas encontram um bebê unicórnio. Certas de que o animal tem poderes mágicos que dão sorte e podem melhorar suas vidas, elas decidem cuidar dele. Mas, quando caçadores locais capturam o pequeno unicórnio, as irmãs vão precisar embarcar numa grande aventura para trazê-lo de volta.
