Quando um gângster conhecido como J.D. (Rik Sinkeldam) sai pelas ruas no centro de Amsterdan em busca de vingança, uma conspiração revelada. Perseguido pelo agente da CIA Martin Keele (Michael Madsen), o rapaz é sequestrado pela máfia tailandesa, drogado e forçado a revelar os segredos de seu chefe, o perigoso Gunter. Deixado para morrer, J.D. consegue retornar a Amsterdam e encontra abrigo no famoso Distrito da Luz Vermelha da capital holandesa. Lá, ele é ajudado por Monique (Alison Carrol), uma dançarina. Quando J.D. começa a refazer seus passos e recuperar sua memória, perceque que sua luta será a única forma de enfrentar seus inimigos, que o querem vivo ou morto.
