Este documentário observacional foi realizado por cineastas da UNESPAR. O filme acompanha a Téssera Companhia de Dança da UFPR, em imagens em preto e branco, enquanto os integrantes do grupo preparam a dança “Black Dog,” um trabalho sobre o enfrentamento da depressão, em junho de 2017. A história do filme, estruturada em capítulos, apresenta personagens arquetípicos superando crises individuais em prol da expressão coletiva. “A matilha tem que caminhar junto,” diz o austero, porém afetuoso líder da companhia, no contexto de um trabalho pedagógico sobre a importância de um espetáculo em curso.
