Eddie James (Ehtan Erickson) é um ator que está preso a um personagem que interpreta em um popular programa infantil – o coelho Mulligan. Annie Baker (Jennie Garth) é uma jovem viúva, mãe de Taylor, uma garotinha de apenas seis anos de idade, uma grande fã de Mulligan. Porém, Taylor está perdendo a visão e precisa de um transplante para continuar a enxergar. Os caminhos de Eddie, Annie e Taylor se cruzam quando eles se envolvem em um acidente de trânsito. Ninguém se fere no acidente, contudo, a vida de todos muda a partir deste encontro casual. Eddie se apaixona no momento em que vê Annie e sua filha juntas e acredita que pode ajudar as duas a encontrar um modo de pagar pela cirurgia para curar Taylor. Entretanto, quando surge uma grande oportunidade para Eddie, será que escolherá sua tão esperada carreira ou ele deverá apostar em um amor acidental que poderá mudar sua vida?
