On The Count of Three é uma comédia sombria que segue dois melhores amigos deprimidos, Kevin (Christopher Abbott) e Val (Jerod Carmichael), no dia em que decidem se matar. Após os amigos fazerem um pacto de suicídio, eles decidem ter um último dia para cuidar de negócios inacabados. Convencidos de que são suas últimas horas na Terra, os dois começam uma viagem rumo ao fim, uma conclusão aparentemente por vontade própria, mas derivada de um trauma assustador, com várias paradas para obter retribuição daqueles que consideram responsáveis ??por suas dores.
