Durante sua busca, ela tenta salvar os criptídeos (seres mitológicos como dragões, wendigos, medusas, grifos), mantendo eles numa reserva: o Cryptozoo, mas com o governo caçando eles, Lauren precisa decidir se vale mesmo apena expor essas criaturas ao mundo.
