Genysis II, o jato mais sofisticado e moderno da atualidade, totalmente computadorizado e pilotado remotamente pelo pessoal de terra se prepara para sua viagem inaugural. Entretanto, quando Gabriel (John Pyper Ferguson), um hacker brilhante e vingativo, assume remotamente o controle do sistema de navegação do jato, seus cinco passageiros ficam aterrorizados. Na cabine de comando, a Capitã Reese (Rachel Hayward), luta com os instrumentos de bordo, agora controlados pelo computador de Gabriel. Quando Pete (Craig Sheffer), um veterano da guerra do Golfo e ex-marido da capitã fica sabendo da ameaça, reúne toda a sua coragem para localizar Gabriel e tentar evitar um enorme desastre.
