Ao lado de suas novas amigas, um grupo de garotas evangélicas da igreja local, Raquel mergulha na sua espiritualidade e revive traumas profundos do passado. Com o apoio de alguns e condenação de outros, Raquel tenta se balancear em um inquietante espiral de fé, razão e loucura.
