Uma adaptação do romance homônimo de Annie Ernaux, que aborda a sua experiência com o aborto quando este ainda era ilegal na França nos anos 60. Leão de Ouro, de Melhor Filme, no Festival de Veneza 2021. Venceu o Cesar 2022 (o Oscar francês) de Atriz Mais Promissora (para Anamaria Vartolomei) e foi indicado a Melhor Filme, Direção e Roteiro Adaptado.
