Há 14 anos, o cineasta Mateo Blanco sofreu um acidente no qual perdeu a visão e a pessoa que o acompanhava morreu. Ele abandona sua posição de cineasta e preserva apenas o lado de escritor, com o pseudônimo de Harry Caine. Um dia Diego, filho de sua antiga e fiel diretora de produção Judit Garcia, é internado no hospital. Assim que sabe do ocorrido, Harry vai em seu socorro. Quando o jovem o indaga sobre seus dias de cineasta, ele revela se lembrar de detalhes marcantes de sua vida e do acidente.
