Em Tohsaka e Luviagelita, “Luvia” Edelfelt têm a tarefa de encontrar as sete “cartas de classe”, lendários artefatos medievais que contêm a essência vital dos espíritos heróicos. Para ajudá-los, eles recebem o poder de Ruby e Sapphire, dois Kaleidosticks poderosos e inteligentes que são capazes de se transformar em garotas mágicas e aumentar muito seus poderes. No entanto, Rin e Luvia se encontram em más condições, levando os Kaleidosticks a abandoná-los e buscar novos professores. É quando eles conhecem duas garotas, Illyasviel von Einzbern e Miyu, e as convencem a fazer um contrato. Com novos poderes e responsabilidades, Illya e Miyu agora terão que procurar as “Cartas de Classe”.
