Fernando é um jovem entusiasta de filmes e um intenso consumidor da mídia que passa as noites na frente da televisão. Uma noite, Fernando passa por um canal de notícias que lhe conta sobre um assassino à solta. Quando a imagem da televisão trava e ele tenta mudar de canal, uma batida em sua porta ocorre, o que dá início a uma série de eventos aparentemente inexplicáveis que que levam Fernando em uma jornada entre ser um consumidor de produtos da mídia para se tornar um produto da mídia, consumido por ela: A própria imagem do que viu na televisão.
