As irmãs Roberta e Suzana são perseguidas pelo desejo de vingança da avó, uma velha má que durante a infância as atormentava e torturava com conceitos rígidos de etiqueta e educação. O plano está pronto: Roberta e Suzana seqüestram a avó e a levam para a casa de praia da família, cenário das cenas de tortura feminina por que passaram. O advogado careta Renato e o marido de Suzana, o atrapalhado médico Francisco, entram na trama apimentando o ritmo do filme. Os personagens vivem em um emaranhado de emoções, sensações e situações interligadas que levam a um desfecho surpreendente e inesperado.
