Vários assassinatos ocorreram na cidade de Calcutá. Acredita-se que um serial killer seja o responsável. O mods operandi é que o assassino sempre comete o assassinato de acordo com versos da poesia bengali. Ele deixa para trás os versos ao lado da vítima. A polícia está perplexa. O detetive principal luta para resolver o caso. Isso leva seus superiores a decidirem trazer de volta um ex-policial para ajudar a resolver o caso. O ex-policial foi suspenso por orquestrar um encontro falso e é conhecido por seu mau temperamento. Agora, o ex-policial e o detetive principal devem trabalhar juntos para capturar o serial killer antes que outro inocente perca a vida.
