Agamenon Mendes Pedreira (Hubert/Marcelo Adnet) cortou o pão que o diabo amassou para se transformar no jornalista mundialmente conhecido e autor da coluna diária publicada todos os domingos. Ficou anos sem almoçar e jantar para comprar uma passagem para o Titanic e, sobrevivente, acabou se enrabichando com Eva Braun (Guilhermina Guinle), o grande amor de Hitler. Entre os altos e baixos de sua incrível carreira, entrevistando figuras ilustres (Gandhi, Albert Einstein e Freud), o repórter Pedro Bial (Pedro Bial) o encontra em um momento histórico: a derrubada do Muro de Berlim. De volta ao Brasil, e já no jornal O Globo, Agamenon segue sua vidinha no Dodge Dart 73, estacionado na porta do jornal e habitado pela patroa Isaura (Luana Piovani), mas após ser enviado para o Ageganistão para entrevistar Osama Bin Laden, a vida do casal sofreu um forte abalo e eles precisam rever alguns conceitos sobre a vida a dois, a três, a quatro ...
